Made and released only in 1979, with a copyright date of 1978, was a set of very hard-to-find shiny glass plaques. There are four designs in the set which was available to sell to collectors. In addition to the set of four, some dealers were able to get their hands on a "DealerĀ Plaque" which featured the original scroll design Precious Moments logo, and the boy and girl sitting back-to-back on the stump. This item is so rare, that when it appears on auction, it generally goes for around $200, even more if it has its original black and white box.
This plaque features a crying boy with a bad report card, accompanied by his crying puppy. It is called "God Understands."
Plaque is "shiny glass" (bone china) with gold trim and the design decaled on its face. Size is approximately 7.5" tall, 5.5" wide.
